Treat yourself to a good laugh
It’s been a long time since you’ve exercised your zygomatic? Head to Lyon’s Bourse du Travail on May 16, 17 and 18 for a comedy marathon with Les Lions du rire. This year’s program includes PV, the rising star of stand-up comedy, as well as Mahé, one of 12 finalists selected from 120 French-speaking candidates. Each year, the festival closes with a contest (last year, Paul Mirabel won the audience prize), with the prize being a trip for two to Reunion Island or Mauritius! Place your bets!

It may seem trivial, but this little pleasure can completely transform your week. Whether it’s over a coffee on a shady terrace or a good beer on a long table, the simple act of sharing a convivial moment should be in our weekly TODO .
Concert after concert as summer arrives
This year’s crop of concerts in Lyon promises to be particularly generous. In the coming weeks, we’ll be seeing Zaho de Sagazan, The Brian Jonestown Massacre and Dua Lipa, among others . Something for everyone, from pop to indie. And if you’re not too keen on big, crowded venues, why not opt for a more subdued atmosphere? With Candlelight, music takes on a whole new dimension: intimate candlelit concerts in timeless venues such as Chapelle de la Trinité and Basilique Saint-Bonaventure. Chills guaranteed.
Immerse yourself in the world of Van Gogh
This is undoubtedly the most eagerly awaited cultural event of the season. After conquering over 5 million visitors worldwide, the exhibition comes to Lyon for our greatest pleasure. 360º panoramic projections bring you right up close to the painter’s work. Sporting vacations organized by the Metropole of Lyon
A not-to-be-missed event for all budding Antoine Duponts. During the Easter vacations, the Metropole de Lyon is putting sports in the spotlight with a program of free activities for youngsters aged 3 to 18. BMX, archery, volleyball, rugby… Some twenty disciplines will be on offer, so you can discover something other than soccer or swimming. Since 2021, this scheme has enabled thousands of young people in the conurbation to be introduced to new practices, in a fun and inclusive spirit. It’s an initiative that inspires young people to get moving, test their skills and, who knows… discover a new passion. Participation is free, but places are going fast!
