Croix-Roussien par excellence, the Bistrot Jutard is a HQ for all those who like to eat well. A quality seafood restaurant thanks to the Jutard shellfish maker, the menu also features seasonal platters and dishes, all homemade of course. However, it’s important to know that seafood and oysters are only available from Thursday to Sunday, from September to May!

5. Nacre, Oyster Bar
It’s all in the name, Mother-of-pearl is Lyon’s little gem when it comes to oysters. You’ll find a meticulous selection of shellfish à la carte, direct from Oléron. Mathieu and Matthieu, the two creators of Nacre, opened the restaurant in 2021 in collaboration with their friend Martin, an oyster farmer on the island! You can go there with your eyes closed – you can be sure of fresh food!
