Le Christmas Corner – coup de coeur 2025

For the 8th time, Le Christmas Corner brings you a host of festive delights at Atelier Muguette. Oingt en crèches

It’s one of the highlights of the Christmas season, and even if it’s not a real Christmas market, Oingt en crèches has a rightful place in this ranking. In this village (the only one in the Rhône to be classified as one of the “Most Beautiful Villages in France”), no fewer than 200 cribs are scattered around the center, allowing visitors to stroll from one street to the next in a warm, family atmosphere.

Place Carnot Christmas Market

This is Lyon’s main Christmas market, so it’s not to be missed. With over 100 chalets featuring local crafts and comforting gourmet breaks, it’s a must at the end of the year. In 2025, “Fabriqué Lyon” will have pride of place, with a special area dedicated to the expertise of Lyon’s artisans and entrepreneurs. We’ve been told that Santa Claus will make several appearances… With the preparation of presents, he’s got a monstrous schedule! It’s best to take a look at the times he’ll be in town if you want to bump into him.

Marché de Noël des Créateurs Dauphiné-Sans Souci

Another not-to-be-missed item on our end-of-year to-do list: the Christmas market returns on Saturday, November 29. No fewer than 50 designers and craftsmen will be on hand to showcase their finest creations. A real nod to Black Friday, and clearly more original than any online purchase. We highly recommend a visit!
