Just like the biggest European capitals—and much to our delight— Lyon ranks among the must-visit cities on the tour itineraries of the music world’s elite. And let’s be honest, there’s nothing better on earth than belting it out with friends at a concert by our favorite artist, or savoring the richness of the classical music scene in some of the city’s historic landmarks. Here’s a rundown of the venues and dates where you can lose your voice soon.

Nation of Language
They’re one of the hottest bands around! The trio Nation of Language, led by frontman Ian Richard Devaney, is a true joy to see live. The band brilliantly blends the power of post-punk with synthpop melodies through heavy synth beats. A concert not to be missed—it goes without saying!
Iron Maiden
The hard rock legends have just shaken up the rock world by announcing a massive tour that will stop in Paris and Lyon in 2026. Just enough time to revisit the band’s greatest hits… and dig out your leather jacket and spiked necklace from the closet!
Cerrone (with the Lyon Conservatory)
The king of French electro and disco will be spinning his turntables and delivering an unmissable show during the Jazz à Vienne festival this early summer. We remember, among other things, his performance at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics, and this time it will be the legendary Théâtre Antique in Vienne that will bear the brunt of the Cerrone hurricane. He will be preceded by the Japanese group Kyoto Jazz Massive, which promises to be just as electrifying, transforming Vienne into a giant dance floor!
Altin Gün
The band Altin Gün is back in the spotlight with a new album, “Garip,” which takes their music back to the even more folk- and psychedelic-infused sensibilities of the 1970s. The band is kicking off a world tour that will take them to all the best venues, including Le Transbordeur in Lyon, of course.
Ásgeir
Maybe his name doesn’t ring a bell, but you’re bound to recognize the tune of his 2013 hit “King and Cross.” But Ásgeir isn’t the type to rest on his laurels and has continued his career with some truly beautiful work, like his album *Bury the Moon* (2020). He’ll be touring across Europe to celebrate the release of his album “Julia,” which came out on February 13. We’ll be there!
