On May 23 and 24 , the Bourse du Travail will host a concert that is sure to attract both Queen fans and those curious to experience an original musical evening. On stage, an impressive ensemble combines a concert band , a rock band, and a gospel choir to reinterpret the legendary band’s greatest hits. A collective and immersive experience, designed to help audiences rediscover these classics in a new light.
An XXL show blending rock, orchestra, and gospel

Behind this project lies an unusual artistic collaboration. The Montluel and Surrounding Areas Instrumental Ensemble (EIME), comprising 45 musicians led by Vincent Gaillard, joins forces with the band GAIL , led by Gaël Bruel, and the gospel choir La Jaama, directed by Sabine Kouli. The result: more than 80 artists gathered on stage to bring a new dimension to Queen’s iconic songs.
The songs have been reimagined for this large ensemble, blending rock power, orchestral richness, and vocal harmonies. An original way to rediscover these essential tracks, without ever losing their original energy.
An accessible and unifying tribute

Here, there is no strict imitation, but a true reinterpretation. The show relies on the strength of the collective and the diversity of sounds to offer an experience that speaks to everyone—from Freddie Mercury fans and live concert enthusiasts to families.
With a runtime of about 2 hours and a production designed to captivate from start to finish, it stands out as the perfect outing for spring.
