You’re invited to the very heart of the city for a luminous journey. From December 5, you’ll be able to plunge into a waking dream at the Palais de la Bourse: an immersive show where light, music and architecture merge to take you far, far away, but without leaving Lyon. FLOW is the new audiovisual nugget from PROJEKTIL, the Zurich-based creator of immersive light experiences, and we can’t wait to see it.
What can you expect from the new immersive show FLOW?
Inspired by the work of PROJEKTIL, creator of the already spellbinding Enlightenment, FLOW is a 30-minute multi-sensory show where the power of a mythical river comes to life through 360-degree projections, orchestral music (including Smetana’s famous Moldau ) and contemporary sound design.
In Lyon, the chosen venue – the Palais de la Bourse – will be transformed by luminescent waves, evoking the Vltava, the Czech river, in a sublime architectural setting illuminated by the magic of technology.
In the city of Marseille, this major building in Lyon’s heritage is enhanced by sound and light, ready to tell the story of a symphonic visual fresco. Enriched by an electro-orchestral sound design, FLOW is an invitation to reverie, immersing the audience in pure emotion, between sound and light.
Immersive lightning:
In this total video-mapping, a tribute to the vital force of water, carried by La Moldau, revisited in an electro-classical version, the audience is treated to a veritable audiovisual choreography. In one of Lyon’s cultural hotspots, they are invited to take a break, disconnect and let themselves be lulled by the music and light to live a waking dream in autumnal Lyon, made possible by cutting-edge technology (ultra-precise lasers have scanned the entire structure of the building for an ad hoc experience ).
