Ah, the joys of being a Lyonnais! Although the metro’s B line is extremely convenient in Lyon, we have to admit that it’s at a standstill all the time. And this weekend, it’s not going to miss! From Sunday August 11 to Thursday August 15, the line will again be at a standstill. The reason? “Work and tests to increase capacity and passenger comfort ” that never seem to end…
Relay buses every 6 to 15 minutes
To compensate, TCL has set up a relay bus service that runs every 6 to 15 minutes from Gare Part-Dieu Vivier Merle to Saint-Genis-Laval Hôpital Lyon Sud. As usual, the relay buses will not serve the Stade de Gerland Le Lou or Gare d’Oullins stations.
This Sunday, departure from St-Genis-Laval Hôpital Lyon Sud will start at 4:49 a.m. and finish at 0:03 a.m. The first departure from Gare Part-Dieu Vivier Merle will be at 4:52 and the last departure at 0:23.
On weekdays, the first bus departures will be at 4:49 a.m. from St-Genis-Laval Hôpital Lyon Sud and at 4:52 a.m. from Gare Part-Dieu Vivier Merle. The last departure from St-Genis-Laval Hôpital Lyon Sud will be at 00:04 and the last departure from Gare Part-Dieu Vivier Merle will be at 00:32.
