Situated on the shores of Lake Annecy, this restaurant succeeds in the double challenge of delighting the eye… and the palate. Gastronomy coupled with a getaway: two things we’re particularly fond of. The icing on the cake: it was in Talloires, next to Angon (as you can imagine, a real little corner of paradise), that Paul Cézanne painted one of his most beautiful pictures in 1896.
Petit Paradis, a restaurant that’s as much about the food as the view
Nestled between lake and mountains in Talloires, the Petit Paradis restaurant lives up to its name. The waterside tables – especially those on the pontoon! – offer a unique experience. Here, all five senses are called upon: sight, of course, but also taste, hearing with the lapping of the water, and smell with the aromas of home cooking.
And on the plate, there’s no room for half-measures. The deliberately short menu – 4 starters, 4 main courses and 7 desserts – is a guarantee of masterful, seasonal cuisine. For example, you’ll be able to enjoy octopus confit as a starter, followed by roast veal tournedos, then finish with a dreamy lemon tart.
