You’ve probably already seen how a trial unfolds in the United States in films or TV series. In Lyon, The Jury Experience lets you put yourself in the shoes of a juror and take part in the verdict. The Palais de Justice in Lyon has seen many important trials, such as that of Klaus Barbie, but in this theatrical experience, it’s up to you to vote at the end for what you consider to be the most just.
This immersive mock-trial-style theater will take place in the heart of the 1st arrondissement, in the Salle Edouard Herriot of the Palais de la Mutualité.

The trial examines the ethical complexities of liability when an autonomous car is involved in an accident. “The Jury Experience” will take place in an American-inspired courtroom setting. You’ll witness opening and closing arguments, testimony and cross-examination, while the evidence is presented before you. As a member of the jury, you’ll observe, listen and vote on the outcome of the trial. The experience lasts 75 minutes and is suitable for ages 12 and up.
