
Excitement is running high: the first edition of the Hypnotize Festival will be held this weekend at the Grand Parc Miribel Jonage. Lyon, a city with a rich hip-hop heritage, has been waiting a long time for an event of this scale. Festival-goers are already looking forward to two days with some of the biggest names in rap. But Hypnotize isn’t just about music: it’s a true celebration of rap culture in all its forms. Here’s all the info you won’t want to miss.

The two-day festival promises to be intense. You’ll need to arrive in good shape to make sure you don’t miss a thing. Concerts start at 5pm, with a succession of must-see artists.On Friday, the NOTORIOUS stage will welcome Stone, Artel, Leto, Jok’Air and Booba, while the SUPREME Arena and RVMBLE Club will vibrate to the rhythm of Vertt, Venus, Adês the Planet, Edge, Madiju Won, Meryl, Lincoln Live and Mendi. Saturday, it’s that time again. Stone, Kay the Prodigy, Kalash, Vald and Dadju perform on the main stage. On the other stages, you’ll find 1heure42, Mussy, Dakeez, Jayvee, Elies G, L2B, Alva, Bu$hi and Armel Bizzman. And don’t miss the rap and breakdance battles, a real highlight of the festival.

A picture’s worth a thousand words, and the festival site map will help you locate the various stages, catering areas, toilets, cashless points and so on. Everything has been thought out so that you can navigate easily between the different areas and take full advantage of the event. A valid ID card will be required to enter the festival grounds.
Tokens
Payments at the bar and food trucks will be made exclusively with tokens, the only currency accepted on site. Remember to buy them in advance to benefit from the best rates. You can also top them up on site, either by credit card at the terminals provided, or in cash at the dedicated bungalow.
Foodtrucks
Hypnotize has pulled out all the stops in terms of line-up… and food too. After hours of dancing and singing, it’s time to get your strength back! Nine food trucks will be on hand to satisfy all tastes:

- La bar à cookies d’Élise – Cookies and other delights
- La maison du burger – Burgers and home fries
- La fabrique à churros – Churros and other delights
- Just bagels – Bagels in all their glory

- Aklé – Mezzes and more
- 100dwich – A different kind of sandwich
The night market
The festival doesn’t stop with the music. A night market will be set up to extend the experience: grillz, rhinestones, streetwear, piercings, gems, tattoos… There’ll be plenty to indulge yourself too.
How do I get to the festival this weekend?
Got your tickets and outfits ready? All that’s left is to organize your arrival. Everything has been planned to make getting to the festival as easy and stress-free as possible. Subways, shuttles, parking lots, bike routes… you can even vary from day to day. We recommend that you arrive early, as traffic at the Park is very heavy at this time of year.
Please note: police checks will be carried out at parking lot exits. Do not drive if you have consumed alcohol.
Prohibited items
To ensure everyone’s safety, a check will be carried out at the entrance. As always, these measures will ensure that the festival runs smoothly. Festival-goers are required to bring valid identification with them. Here is the list of prohibited items:
- Food and drink
- Professional cameras, video cameras and/or recorders, including SLR, film and GoPro cameras
- Tripods and/or selfie poles
- Narcotic substances
- Any type of weapon or object capable of producing the same cutting effects or defensive sprays
- Any type of flammable item, flares, firecrackers, explosives and flammable, smoky or corrosive products and pyrotechnic devices
- Any audible device
- Markers and/or paint cans
- Teddy bears
- Masks
- Bottles, cans and/or coolers
- Balls, balloons, inflatables, frisbees
- Water guns and/or similar
- Umbrellas, chairs, tents, sleeping bags and/or blankets
- Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades and/or motorized scooters
- Drones or flying objects * Laser pointers and/or similar
- Chains, spiked necklaces and/or similar * Motorcycle helmets
- Bags larger than 21 cm wide x 30 cm high and 8 cm deep
