On November 28 and 29, the center of Asia won’t be Tokyo, Beijing, or even Seoul—it’ll be Lyon. For one weekend, the capital of Gaul will swap its praline tarts for stir-fried noodles and come alive to the rhythm of Asia’s incredibly rich and diverse culture.

Japan Touch, the festival that has something for everyone

Food, fashion, gaming, music, immersive experiences… In total, no fewer than 450 exhibitors are expected for this year’s event. Imagine being able, all in one day, to discover all the latest trends in Korean K-pop and try out the newest Japanese gaming releases, all while savoring (provided you know how to use chopsticks!) one of the many delights of Chinese cuisine.
The weekend will feature meet-and-greets with a wide range of industry professionals: content creators, authors, illustrators, cosplayers, and even voice actors will participate in autograph sessions and panel discussions.
For those looking to treat themselves—or who are already thinking about Christmas gifts—you’ll of course be able to walk away with exclusive items such as figurines, manga, cards, and many other accessories. It’s a great opportunity to find that one-of-a-kind gem!
South Korea and Pokémon® Take Center Stage at This XXL Edition

Pokémon®’s 30th anniversary will, of course, be one of the festival’s highlights. Numerous activities (and surprises!) are planned to celebrate in grand style this franchise that hasn’t aged a bit in three decades. We’re being told through our earpiece that it’s going to be huge.
And since good news never comes alone, South Korea will also be in the spotlight with several special guests, events, and exclusive workshops. The full program hasn’t been revealed yet, but everything points to this 26th edition being the center of attention.
