Les Grands Buffets Lyonnais (replacing the former Food Traboule) arrives with a magic potion for the occasion.A huge all-you-can-eat buffet at affordable prices, in the spirit of Lyon’s bouchons. This new venue will take Lyon to a new level of gastronomy (and then some).

As you can see , Les Grands Buffets Lyonnais doesn’t do things by halves. So there won’t be just one floor of festivities, but two! One will feature a buffet with a whole range of Lyonnais and French specialties, and the second will be simply dedicated to an open-air rotisserie. Of course, desserts and starters are out of the question. Here too, everything is planned to go “all out”. The challenge will be to delight the mouths of the many customers (300 covers in all) while maintaining the bistro and bouchon atmosphere so dear to the hearts of the Lyonnais.

With lunchtime menus at 29€ and evening and weekend menus at 39€, the intention is to treat without breaking the bank. And you don’t need to be a graduate of Polytechnique to understand that this is a win-win situation for the customer. The concept is intended to be popular (and it will be). We understand that everything is done to make people want to come back. The restaurant will offer continuous service from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., so that as many people as possible can enjoy a feast as it should be. Opening in a few days’ time, on April 15, on Rue du Boeuf (quite a program). With this new “bouchon-buffet” formula, all that’s left for us to do is go taaaaaaaaaaable!
