Here’s a great way to end January and start February! Attention all Tolkien fans: on Saturday January 25, meet at the foot of Saint-Jean Cathedral, Place Saint-Jean, from 10am. The objective? A treasure hunt that could well lead you to a unique treasure: the One Ring.
This is an authentic gold ring, designed under official license from The Lord of the Rings, in partnership with Moriarty Art Project and Lyon master jeweler Sylvain Nosjean, recognized by the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label.
A life-size Lord of the Rings quest in the streets of Lyon
Lyon’s city center will become the stage for an epic adventure, a life-size treasure hunt into the heart of its secrets. The concept? Each participant (aged 16 to 345!) will receive several quests, each consisting of four riddles, plunging them into the captivating world of The Lord of the Rings. To take part in the final draw, you’ll need to complete all the quests.
You’ll need a smartphone to use the dedicated platform throughout the game. Registration will take place on site on the day, and will be open to 10,000 participants. Little bonus: come dressed up to maximize your chances and fully immerse yourself in the adventure!
