You couldn’t miss it: it’s the return of the Station Mue summer season in Lyon! With over 60 free outdoor activities for the whole family, the cultural venue is set to transform the capital of Gaul. From May 5 to September 29, 2024, you’ll be able to enjoy a variety of artistic performances, an educational farm and handisport activities at Station Mue! This year’s theme? Sustainable development. Here’s the program!
What is La Station Mue?
Located in the heart of Lyon’s Confluence district, La Station Mue is an open-air experimental space, part of a large-scale 6-hectare urban project. Every year, with the arrival of fine weather, the site is transformed into a veritable festival of free activities highlighting culture, sport, respect for the environment and biodiversity.
We owe this summer Program to Oùesk: an agency dedicated to organizing events in the public space. And this year, they’ve pulled out all the stops! From May 5 to September 29, 2024, there are no fewer than 60 free events and activities to attend under the sun.
The 2024 Program
On the program: family dance, theater and music shows, festive events such as a hip-hop and electro festival, as well as open-air cinema screenings, handisport, a traveling educational farm, live music and yoga, and a Brazilian concert ball.
So there’s something for everyone, and especially for all ages! It’s an opportunity to raise your children’s awareness of sustainable development issues, while giving them the chance to enjoy outdoor activities. It’s all free, because it feels good. What are the people asking for?
