Fancy a swim in the heart of Lyon? The Piscine Tony Bertrand, inaugurated in 1965, is a true monument to functional architecture and a must-see site in Lyon. Awarded the “Heritage of the 20th Century” label, it boasts a 50 x 21-meter Olympic pool with water at 27°C in winter, and a 68 x 24-meter leisure pool accessible in summer, with leisure facilities such as whirlpools, a slide and a counter-current! In addition to swimming, the pool offers a range of activities including water polo, beach volleyball, table tennis and free aquagym and aquabike classes. A word of advice: you’d better be in shape! Get your swimsuit ready, book your time and dive into a unique aquatic experience in an exceptional setting!

La Duchère swimming pool
It’s just reopened! After months of refurbishment, come and enjoy the Duchère swimming pool with its brand-new slide, women’s changing rooms and reopened paddling pool. And that’s not all: the equivalent of half a basketball court has been set up to accommodate all ancillary activities such as gym classes, as well as a refurbished picnic area. As you can see, the pool is back in the limelight and set to win back the hearts of the Lyonnais over the summer months.

Piscine de Vaise in Lyon 9e (currently under construction, opening soon)
It’s not open yet, but it’s already promising some great experiences! The Piscine de Vaise, located in Lyon’s 9th arrondissement, is currently undergoing a complete renovation of its two pools, which should be completed by this summer. Inaugurated in 1968, the pool will benefit from work on the waterproofing and tiling, as well as on the diving boards and roof of the small pool. The facades and entrance area will also be refurbished! The initial budget of 4.6 million euros has been revised to 6.3 million euros for this renovation, scheduled to take place between May 2024 and May 2025. These renovations will provide you with a modernized and more pleasant space. We can’t wait to take a dip!
