European Heritage Days: what free places to visit in Lyon this weekend?

The long-awaited Journées du Patrimoine event will be held from September 21 to 22, 2024. Here's a sneak preview of the program!

Every year,the Journées du Patrimoine return to help us discover the latest collections in our favorite museums, or to allow us to visit places that are usually inaccessible. The program for the weekend of September 21-22septembre is packed, to say the least!

Heritage Days: the program

Have you always wanted to see the inside of the Hôtel de Ville? Its high ceilings, admire its chandeliers and gilding? Visit the city’s museums or the Grande Mosquée de Lyon free of charge? See the secretive Archives Départementales? Exclusive guided tours will also be organized through these emblematic places of the capital of the Gauls.
