June in Lyon is undoubtedly the highlight of the calendar. Following a memorable previous edition highlighted by performances by Tinariwen and The Libertines, Les Nuits de Fourvière unveils an equally exceptional lineup for its 80th edition in 2026. True to its reputation, the festival offers the people of Lyon the privilege of cheering on global superstars in the majestic setting of its Roman theaters. This year, the five-star lineup celebrates eclecticism: from the hypnotic electro of Massive Attack to the feverish rock of Jack White, the iconic pop of Pulp, and the elegance of Charlotte Cardin and Asaf Avidan. A summer event not to be missed under any circumstances.

Fancy listening again to the most beautiful French pop songs reimagined as classical music? On June 13, Candlelight offers a spellbinding musical experience by candlelight in an exceptional venue! This concert, a tribute to Jean-Jacques Goldman, will take place at the Notre-Dame de Fourvière Basilica, featuring 60 minutes of live music in an intimate setting.

On June 20, the Écully Fire Department welcomes us to the École Centrale de Lyon campus for an event not to be missed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.! The goal? To give visitors a glimpse into the daily lives of those who spend their lives saving others. Workshops, educational activities, and entertainment: all in a friendly, family-friendly atmosphere.
