Smash Burger Joint
At Smash Burger Joint, come and try the smashed burger. In other words, a burger whose steak has been cooked by compression on a hot plate. This recipe is available as a package (burger + side dish + drink) at €14.90.

Pizzeria Maria
As we all know, pizza is always a good way to eat without paying full price. But you might as well go to a pizzeria that takes you all the way to Italy! With Maria, take a round trip to Naples for less than 15 euros. We can’t recommend this 5-star address enough.

L’Épicerie de Ginette
At L’Épicerie de Ginette, in the second arrondissement, the choice is vast: for under €15, you can order a sweet or savory tartine (€6.50 – €8.20), burger (€9.90 – €11.90) or mixed salad (€9.20 – €12.90). And since there’s still plenty of room, we’ll even throw in a side dish and/or dessert! The perfect place to treat yourself, and for a low price!

Dear cousins
The epicenter of bagels in Lyon is called “Chères Cousines”. Like the hole in the middle of these sandwiches, the establishment awaits you in the heart of Lyon for an address to mark in every diary. Le Penjab
Although the menus at Le Penjab exceed €15 (€20 for the menu Évasion or €18 for the vegetarian menu), you won’t need to go any higher than €12-13 to enjoy a coquettish dish typical of Indian cuisine at this charming restaurant at the entrance to Vieux-Lyon. Beef massala, kofta curry, chicken tikka massala are all around €9.90-€12.50.

Cantine La Grenade
If there’s one restaurant we love at Lyon Secret, it’s La Grenade. Incredible mezze platters, a tastefully decorated space and ridiculously low prices for the quality of the dishes on offer. Here, you’re sure to eat well, and cheaply. For example, the incredible lamb shred pastilla or the salmon gravlax with beet are €15! Right in our budget!

Toké
Toké is the concept of French-style empanadas with all the bells and whistles. Fresh, sourced produce, a pop, colorful identity and already three locations in Lyon. The success is there for all to see. Obviously, because it’s excellent and inexpensive… ¡otra porfa!

Best Bagels
In business since 2004, the Best Bagels Company has six restaurants in Lyon. As the name suggests, the company’s star product, the bagel (an American sandwich filled and hollowed out in the shape of a ring), is available with tuna, chicken, ham, avocado, fresh goat’s cheese, smoked salmon, bacon… and can be enjoyed on a menu for an average of €7-9 with a side dish and drink.
La Broche
La Broche is one of our favorite kebab places in Lyon. Located near Les Terreaux and in Rue de Marseille, they offer five different menus at €10.90-€12.50, featuring kebab, plate with fries, poutine or vegetarian dishes.

Le Noze
Visit Le Noze for lunch at under €15! You can put together your own plate (1 bowl + 1 protein + 2 flavors) for just 11.50€ and even add a dessert (chocolate fondant, lemon cake, caramel cake…) for 14€. It’s good, it’s healthy, and it’s right on budget!

Flam’s, the cheap and tasty flammenkueche
The lunchtime specials at Alsatian restaurant Flam’s offer real savings on the wallet: for just 8€-11€, you can enjoy a typical savory Flammenküche (or a main course) accompanied by a starter and dessert.

Le Marélie, the inexpensive crêpe
After Alsace, let’s head for Brittany! At Le Marélie, crispy crêpes and smoky buckwheat pancakes take their place on your plate… For just €13.90 at lunchtime from Monday to Friday, you can choose from a selection of three galettes of the moment (or the gratin de ravioles, miam) accompanied by a sweet crêpe or a creamy fromage blanc with red fruit coulis.

Bentomania Honten
“Bento”, which means “practical” in Japanese, is a complete individual meal traditional to Japanese culture, ready to eat, generally made up of raw vegetables, rice, meat, fish… and presented in the form of a compartmentalized box. Bentomania’s Teishoku menu takes up this formula, offering hors d’oeuvres + main course + rice or udon + soup for just €13.90-14.90 (€15.90 with salmon).

Yummy Pancakes
What if, for €15, we mixed sweet and savory? Classic pancake with maple syrup, salted butter caramel, peanut butter, banana-chocolate, pecan, blueberry-white cheese pancake or, on the contrary, comté-white ham, avocado-goat or cheddar-bacon pancake… at €4.5-9 a pancake, you might as well treat yourself!
