See you at Le NoZe for lunch at under €15! You can put together your own plate (1 bowl + 1 protein + 2 flavors) for just €11.50, and even add a dessert (chocolate fondant, lemon cake, caramel cake…) for €14. It’s good, it’s healthy, and it’s right on budget!

2. Ginette’s Grocery
At Ginette’s Grocery for less than €15, you can order a sweet or savory tartine (€6.50-€8.20), a burger (€9.90-€11.90) or a mixed salad (€9.20-€12.90). And since there’s still some margin, we’ll have a little side dish and/or dessert! The perfect place to treat yourself, and for a low price!

3. Fratelli Ristorante, Italy at an affordable price
At Fratelli at this Italian restaurant in the Confluence district of Paris, you’ll find a wide selection of low-cost antipasti that you can mix and match (2 for 13€), enough to satisfy even the hungriest appetites. Most pizzas (Quattro Formaggi, Margherita, Paesana, Calzone) and some pasta dishes are also under €15.

4. Bao Time
When you love, you don’t count, and Bao Time understands that! In his restaurant just off Place Guichard, you can enjoy not one, not two, but three delicious baos (those tasty Chinese sandwiches filled with meat, veggie or fish with starter + dessert + drink for just €14!

5. Punjab
Although its menus cost more than €15 (€20 for the Évasion menu or €18 for vegetarian dishes), you won’t need to pay more than €12-13 to enjoy a typical Indian dish at this charming restaurant at the entrance to Vieux-Lyon. Beef massala, kofta curry, chicken tikka massala range from €9.90 to €12.50.

7. Best Bagels
In operation since 2004, the Best Bagels Company has six restaurants in Lyon. As its name suggests, the star of the house, the bagel (an American sandwich filled and hollowed out in the shape of a ring) is available here with tuna, chicken, ham, avocado, fresh goat’s cheese, smoked salmon, bacon… and is served on a menu for an average of €7-9 with accompaniments and a drink.

8. La Broche
La Broche is one of our favorite kebab places in Lyon. Located near Les Terreaux, in the Rue de Marseille and, more recently, at the Food Society in La Part-Dieu, they offer five different menus at €10.90-€12.50 featuring kebab, plate and fries, poutines or vegetarian dishes.

9. Casa Iberica, cheap tapas
Tapas are tasty, filling… and cheap! At this restaurant specializing in Spanish and Portuguese cuisine, you’ll find plenty of tapas to share at €4-€5 each: tortillas, croquetas, albondigas(meatballs), cod fritters, patatas bravas and sangria galore… it’s the ideal place to meet up with friends!

At Soho Smashburger, come and try the smashed burger. Smashed, not premixed! In other words, a burger whose steak has been cooked by compression on a plate at very high temperatures. This recipe – new to Lyon – is available in a Small formula (burger + side dish + drink) at €13.90. So we’re still well below €15.

“Bento”, which means “practical” in Japanese, is a complete individual meal traditional to Japanese culture, ready to eat, generally made up of raw vegetables, rice, meat, fish… and presented in the form of a compartmentalized box. Bentomania’s Teishoku menu takes up this formula, offering hors d’oeuvres + main course + rice or udon + soup for just €13.90-14. 90 (€15.90 with salmon).

14. Cantine La Grenade, cheap Byzantine and Mediterranean cuisine
If there’s one restaurant we love at Lyon Secret, it’s La Grenade. Incredible plates of mezze, a tastefully decorated venue and ridiculously low prices for the quality of the dishes on offer. Here, you can be sure of eating well, and at a low price. For example, the incredible lamb shred pastilla or salmon gravlax with beet are €15! Right in our budget!

15. Yummy Pancakes
What if, for 15 euros, we mixed sweet and savoury? Classic pancake with maple syrup, salted butter caramel, peanut butter, banana-chocolate, pecan pancake, blueberry-white cheese or comté-white ham pancake, avocado-goat or cheddar-bacon… at 4.5-9€ a pancake, you might as well treat yourself!
