Lyon is turning into a global street food hub. Following the announcement of the opening of the much-anticipated Street Bangkok, it’s now the turn of Greek cuisine to take center stage.
Skepsi, Greek like no other
This is the story of two cultures coming together around the same table. Julien, a Lyonnais of Greek origin, wanted to share the flavors of his childhood in Thessaly. He joined forces with Vivien to create Skepsi. After a first successful experience in the 7th arrondissement, they are back in force with this new address. Here at Skepsi, every ingredient is carefully selected: oregano from Mount Pelion, creamy Greek yoghurts, homemade puff pastries, and even EPSA drinks produced in Agria, on the outskirts of Volos.
“In Greece, street food is an institution. It’s an everyday meal, a family tradition and a time for sharing,” explains Julien, co-founder of Skepsi. Our aim? To recreate this experience while adapting it to Lyon’s gastronomic scene.
And with one of those brunches… nom de Zeus!
The new place doesn’t go for half measures, both on and off the plate. Here, the walls are Mediterranean blue with a series of Greek motifs, in a sincerely charming atmosphere. But the real plus of this new address? The Greek brunch, offered every Saturday and Sunday lunchtime for €24:
☕ A choice of beverage: iced coffee, Greek tea or EPSA drink
🍯 Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts or candied cherries
🌯 A generous pita club with home fries
🥗 Greek salad or chickpea salad
🥟A sweet or savory filo preparation of your choice: spanakopita, tiropita or bougatsa
In short, you’ve got it, the perfect place for spring before packing your suitcase for summer vacations.
❤️ Our favorite: the brunch formula (of course)
