The Festival des Terroirs returns for a spring weekend of gastronomic delights with a Big, Big and Generous G. Here, the real rock stars are local produce, while microwaves and frozen foods are persona non grata. At the Festival des Terroirs,we celebrate the savoir faire and savoir vivre of our regions. And what better place than Lyon to toast the health of our art of eating well? In short, the equation is already perfect for the success of this 3rd edition, even before it gets underway.
A mouth-watering program
This year, the organizers have pulled out all the stops to offer us a program worthy of the name. In all, over 3,500m2 ofHEAT space will be devoted to a Food Court, with over 40 chefs taking part. There will also be a farmers’ market with over 70 exhibitors. The curious won’t be left out either, as a gourmet bookshop will also be set up, with a signing area for real fans. There will also be interactive workshops, masterclasses and round-table discussions. Oh yes, we almost forgot: a pétanque tournament between chefs and festival-goers will be organized, not to mention a jam-packed musical program. But that’s not all! A host of new features will also be organized for the occasion. These include the “battle space”, where chefs will battle it out on a top-notch theme…
