We couldn’t have dreamed of a better spring getaway. It’s that time of year when nature shows us its inexhaustible fertility. Here, just like in the gardens of Gadagne or Yvoire, Mother Nature reigns supreme. She is everywhere, in all her forms. So when the spring sun peeks out, photosynthesis kicks into high gear. But this place doesn’t just showcase plants—it elevates them. Patios, fountains, mosaics, galleries, arbors… you’d think you were visiting the Alcázar in Seville or the Majorelle Garden in Marrakech. If you’re even a little bit sensitive to beauty, prepare for your heart to race.
The little paradise of the Secret Gardens of Vaulx

Nestled not far from Annecy in the small town of Vaulx, the Jardins Secrets site offers visitors a unique journey between heaven and earth. Roses, wisteria, peonies, lilies… vegetation in all its forms blends into a truly eco-friendly environment. Pesticide-free flowers, sustainable irrigation, and fertile soil—that’s the secret, not to mention, of course, the skill of the garden’s caretakers. This ecosystem has seen the return of a whole host of pollinating insects and birds, all contributing to the good health of this little Garden of Eden.

Les Jardins Secrets invites you to explore some twenty spaces ( indoor and outdoor) that evoke the atmospheres of Andalusia or Tunisia, as well as Savoyard or Austrian woodwork, even taking us on a journey to India. For since 2024, a spice trail has invited visitors to discover refined scents that are truly hard to resist.
Finally, the grounds offer all the amenities for a refreshing and gourmet break, a picnic area, and a shop to take a little magic home with you. You can even stay overnight in small cottages to extend the magic of your journey…
A family story spanning three generations…

Rome wasn’t built in a day, and so, all things being equal, it took no less than 40 years to bring this incredible garden to life. But beyond the notion of time, it is passion that truly prevails. Nicole and Alain Moumen moved into this old farmhouse with their three daughters in 1980 and devoted all their free time to creating this garden with the sole aim of providing a pleasant living space for their family.
One thing led to another—or rather, from seeds to rakes— and they opened their doors in 1994, now welcoming 40,000 visitors a year. Their work has been recognized with numerous certifications and awards, such as Qualité Tourisme, Jardin Remarquable, and the Trophée Tourisme Vert… nature is reclaiming its rightful place!
