1. A painting workshop in the dark

2. La Vogue des Marrons
Hot chestnuts, hot chestnuts! The not-to-be-missed Vogue des Marrons, which takes over the Place and Boulevard de la Croix-Rousse, will be back again this October! So when you turn off metro station C, treat yourself to a barbapapa break or let yourself be tempted by some of the attractions! (back in the day, the vogue des marrons was called the vogue de la Croix-Rousse… We say that, we say nothing).

3. A blind dinner
Lyon is first and foremost the capital of gastronomy, so we were bound to suggest a restaurant outing. But be warned, Dining in the Dark has a little something extra, you’ll be tasting your dishes blindfolded! The aim of the experience? 4. Le Roi Noir: Escape Game

5. Festival Lumière
The Festival Lumière is the city’s annual rendez-vous for cinephiles. For several days, Lyon’s cinemas are stormed by 7th art classics, as well as more independent or less recent feature films. See you from October 12 to 20!
6. Candlelight concerts
Lyon is brimming with architectural nuggets, and sublime contemporary or ancient venues. Imagine them covered in candles as the only lighting, and you’ve got the ideal stage for classical music concerts. 7. Go treasure hunting at the Lyon Braderie Festival
October is the last yard sale season. So before it gets too cold, search the internet for the nearest ones to you, or get in the car and go on a life-size treasure hunt! 8. See a play at Le Rikiki
There’s no shortage of café-théâtres in Lyon! There are dozens of them all over the city, particularly in the first arrondissement towards the slopes of the Croix-Rousse. Le Rikiki hosts renowned troupes in a joyous, festive atmosphere. Three quality plays are on offer in October, with completely offbeat scenarios!
